Technology Resources and Guides
Below you will find guides for both parents/guardians and students on how to access software and programs that we use in our district.

For Parents
If your contact information needs to be updated in our system, please contact your building's secretary.

ParentSquare is the district's main communication tool for all news, alerts, and information for all schools.
Submit student absences, per building:
- Lincoln School
- Perkins School
- Kelley School
- Middle School
- High School - Please call 315-332-3230
Download the ParentSquare app:

SchoolTool is where you find your child's grades, attendance, assignments, schedules, and more. It also includes all parent contact information.
The SchoolTool is set up for all parents. You can log into the above link using your username and password.
If you do not have a username and password, please contact Rainee Tilkins at mocaraina.tilkins@newarkcsd.org.
Mobile App Instructions: Go to your mobile app store and search for "SchoolTool Mobile" to download. You will need three pieces of information to log in:- URL: SchoolTool
- Enter your email address
- Enter password

Schoology is where students in grades 3-12 access class material, assessments, discussions, and more to support their learning. Parents/Guardians can access Schoology and view their child's progress and learning. Access Schoology via mobile app or Schoology Learning website.

ClassLink is a Single Sign On service that allows students and staff to easily login and access any app or website without the need to log into each individually. Students easily access ClassLink on school laptops by launching Edge and on school iPads through the ClassLink app.

SchoolTool Portal is set up for students in grades 6-12 to access grades, schedules, and attendance. Students can log into the above link using the Microsoft button and signing in with your school email and password.
Mobile App Instructions: Go to your mobile app store and search for "SchoolTool Mobile" to download. You will need to enter the URL below and log in with the Microsoft button.- URL: SchoolTool Login

StudentSquare is the student version of ParentSquare. Students receive messages and posts from schools, teachers, and coaches directly through the mobile app. Students can also access StudentSquare through ClassLink.
When logging in, click Sign in with Google button.
