LEGAL NOTICE

NEWARK CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF TAX ROLL AND WARRANT

TAKE NOTICE that the undersigned collector of school taxes for the Newark Central School District, has duly received a warrant for the collection of school taxes for such district for the school year commencing July 1, 2026 and will receive payment of said taxes without penalty through Tuesday, September 30, 2026 at the office of the Town of Arcadia Clerk, 201 Frey Street, Newark, New York, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Payments may be placed in the drop box, mailed to the office or made in person at 201 Frey Street. No collections will be made on weekends or legal holidays. Subsequent thereto a penalty of 2% will be added for payments made from October 1, 2026 through Friday, October 31, 2026. The tax roll will be closed, and no payments received or postmarked after that date can be accepted and will be returned to the sender. Taxes unpaid after October 31, 2026 will be submitted to the Wayne County Treasurer’s Office for collection with the town and county taxes at an additional penalty.
