LEGAL NOTICE

NEWARK CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF TAX ROLL AND WARRANT

TAKE NOTICE that the undersigned collector of school taxes for the Newark Central School District, has duly received a warrant for the collection of school taxes for such district for the school year commencing July 1, 2026 and will receive payment of said taxes without penalty through Wednesday, September 30, 2026. Payment may be made in person at Lyons National Bank 750 W. Miller Street, Newark, New York, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. to Noon. Payments can be mailed to the bank at Newark CSD Taxes, c/o Lyons National Bank PO Box 33 Geneva, New York 14456. No collections will be made on Sundays or legal holidays. Subsequent thereto a penalty of 2% will be added for payments made from October 1, 2026, through Monday, November 2, 2026. The tax rolls will be closed, and no payments received or postmarked after that date can be accepted and will be returned to the sender. Taxes unpaid after November 2, 2026, will be submitted to the Wayne County Treasurer’s Office for collection with the town and county taxes at an additional penalty.
