Our Comprehensive Professional Development Plan outlines a strategic framework to support high-quality instruction, continuous improvement, and student success across all schools.

- Instructional Excellence
- Teachers engage in job-embedded coaching, PLCs, and training on lesson design, formative assessment, and differentiation.
- Support for New Teachers
- New staff receive extensive onboarding, classroom management support, and monthly after-school sessions tailored to their needs.
- Leadership Development
- Administrators participate in APPR certification, Danielson Framework training, and leadership coaching aligned to district goals.
- Inclusive Practices
- District-wide training promotes co-teaching, specially designed instruction, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to meet diverse learner needs.
- Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)
- Educators receive training on restorative practices, trauma-informed care, and strategies to support student well-being and behavior.
- Family & Community Engagement
- Resources like Parent University and restorative family circles empower families to support student growth and strengthen partnerships.
Data-Driven Improvement
Professional development is aligned with the district’s strategic priorities and monitored through feedback, walkthroughs, and student outcome data (including i-Ready, Regents exams, and state assessments).
