Beginning September 8, 2026, Newark Central School District cafeterias will be going cashless. Students and staff will need to use their MySchoolBucks account for cafeteria purchases, including:
🍎 School meals
🥪 A la carte items
🍿 Snacks and other cafeteria purchases
📲 Please plan ahead! Families and staff are encouraged to set up their MySchoolBucks account and add funds before the start of the school year.

Newark CSD Community Eligibility Program (CEP)
We are pleased to announce that Newark Central School District will participate in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) for the 2025–2026 school year. This program is part of the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.
What does this mean for your student?
All students enrolled in every Newark CSD school building will be able to receive one healthy breakfast and one lunch each school day at no cost to your household. No meal application or payment will be required.
However, we kindly ask families to complete and return the Household Income Information Form. While meals are free regardless of income, the information collected helps the district secure additional funding and grants that support student programs.
