Newark CSD Community Eligibility Program (CEP)

We are pleased to announce that Newark Central School District will participate in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) for the 2025–2026 school year. This program is part of the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.

What does this mean for your student?
All students enrolled in every Newark CSD school building will be able to receive one healthy breakfast and one lunch each school day at no cost to your household. No meal application or payment will be required.

However, we kindly ask families to complete and return the Household Income Information Form. While meals are free regardless of income, the information collected helps the district secure additional funding and grants that support student programs.

Please return completed forms to:

Newark CSD Food Services
625 Peirson Ave.
Newark, NY 14513

If you have any questions, please contact:
Phone: 315-332-3261

Thank you for your cooperation and support!

    MySchoolBucks

Logging into mySchoolBucks could not be easier!  Usernames and passwords for parents are the same ones from MyNutrikids.  Parents that did not previously have an account with MyNutrikids will need to register for a new account on mySchoolBucks.

When a parent makes a payment on MySchoolBucks, the payment will be instantly approved and downloaded to your NUTRIKIDS POS Manager within ten minutes; however, it may take a few days for the payment to reach your district’s bank account.  Heartland Payment Systems is now the payment processor, therefore PayPal is no longer available.

    Things to know about mySchoolBucks:
The convenience fee per transaction will change to $1.95.

    • mySchoolBucks has the following payment methods available for use:
    • Visa®
    • Mastercard®
    • Discover®
    • Electronic Check
    • Parents may fund up to $120 per student, but a family may pay for all of their students on a single transaction.

Due to legal requirements, we are unable to transfer automatic e-mail notifications. If parents previously setup low balance email alerts in MyNutrikids, they will need to set those up on mySchoolBucks.

The MyKids (MyNutrikids) Service Agreement will be replaced with an agreement from Heartland Payment Systems. This agreement covers provisions from each of the credit card brands, as well as various legal requirements.
