She replaced Tina Kline, who retired at the end of June, and began working in her new job at Lincoln School August 11th.

“I absolutely love it,’’ she said September 15th. “The school has such a warm and wonderful atmosphere. Everyone has been so welcoming. My boss (Principal Kari Hamelinck) is amazing.”

“Sarah has been a great addition to the Lincoln School family,” Hamelinck said. “She is warm and welcoming to our families, students and staff and jumps right in to help wherever it is needed.”

In addition to working full time at Lincoln School, Todd operates Sugarplum Sweets custom baking business out of her Savannah home.

Her previous employment history includes working as a physical education teacher at Tyburn Academy in Auburn from September 2023 until November 2024 and serving as its soccer coach. In addition, she also worked as a PE teacher at St. Albert The Great Catholic School in Auburn from September 2023 until June 2024.

In 2018, Todd briefly filled in as a secretary at Newark Middle School during an employee’s medical leave and then worked after that for about six months as the school secretary in the Clyde-Savannah Elementary School.

She was manager of the Lane Bryant store in Rochester from March 2008 until November 2010.

Todd graduated from Gates-Chili High School and took courses in elementary education at Monroe Community College.

She has two daughters, Ava, a sophomore at LeMoyne College in Syracuse where she is a catcher for the softball team and Audrey, a first-grade pupil at Clyde-Savannah Elementary School.
