Saying thanks to NCSD staff

Newark Central School District staff in all five schools, the bus garage and the District Office were given an early morning treat June 25th.

Board of Education President Julie Nevelizer informed all staff in a memo the afternoon before that breakfast pizza and juices would be served Wednesday morning as a way to show appreciation for all NCSD district employees do every day.

“On behalf of the Board of Education, we want to express our sincere gratitude for all your hard work, passion and the incredible energy you bring every day for our students and school community,” Nevelizer wrote. “To show our appreciation, we invite you to a Breakfast Pizza Party as you arrive in the morning! This is just a small token of our gratitude for the big impact you make every day. Come hungry and know how much you are valued!”

The Breakfast Pizza celebration was well received by staff who had their choice of sausage, ham or bacon breakfast pizza slices, apple and orange juice, served at all seven locations between 7:30 and 8:15 a.m..

The memo to all staff June 24th was signed, “With Appreciation,”
