Meet the Team - Newark Drama
Emily Howard-Director/Choreographer (fall play and spring musical)
Ms. Howard is a graduate of Newark High School. She received her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Ohio Northern University. During her time at ONU she trained as an actor/dancer and had the privilege of performing in many productions. Also during undergrad, she was the assistant to the Managing Director of the theatre attached to the university. In this capacity she helped write grants, plan the season, and worked with corporate sponsors. It was this experience that led her to pursue her law degree. Ms. Howard graduated from Syracuse University College of Law and worked for Thomson Reuters as an Attorney Editor before becoming an English teacher at Newark High School during the 2021-2022 school year.
