Catholic Charities of Wayne County

This agency offers a broad range of services from counseling to food to clothing to residential services. They have a food pantry at various locations along with a clothing center in Wolcott. This agency can also provide support with early intervention services along with college bound services.

Family Counseling Service of the Finger Lakes

Provides counseling services to youth and their families.  Individual and family counseling is available.  Sexual abuse counseling is available for youths and adults.

FLACRA’s Newark Outpatient Clinic

Treatment for substance abusers as well as counseling services for the children who have been affected by addiction in their families.  The child can receive support whether or not the adult is participating in FLACRA.

Green Angels

The Green Angels aims to enrich the lives of local children with quality gently used toys, books and clothes at no cost, while encouraging citizens to experience the benefits of giving back to their community by recycling household items. Additionally we provide infant items to young mothers such as diapers, pack ‘n plays, strollers and crib mattresses. All items are free and delivered at no charge. Used for assistance to families in times of crisis.

Victim Resource Center

The Victim Resource Center of the Finger Lakes, Inc. (VRC) is a private, non-profit domestic, sexual, stalking, dating violence, and child abuse services agency in Upstate New York.

The agency provides a 24/7 bilingual (Spanish/English)  toll-free hotline at

Wayne Behavioral Health Network

Children and Youth Services

The Children & Youth Services Clinic treats youth, ages 3 to 18, for emotional and

mental health problems.  Therapists, counselors, nurses, and psychiatrists are available to treat your child in a team approach.  Intake Appointments can be scheduled by calling the above number or by walking in.  Costs are covered by most insurance, but a sliding-scale fee is available.  Treatment is recovery-focused and family centered.  Specialties include the treatment of ADD/ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma/abuse, and crisis intervention.  Some in-home outreach services are available, based on need.

Wayne County Department of Aging and Youth

The Department of Aging and Youth is committed to serve the under-21 and over-60 residents of Wayne County.  The Department’s primary goals are to foster independence, mediate problems, and advocate for services to enhance the quality of life for old and young populations with allocated State, County and Federal funds in accordance to policies and guidelines.  They assess and prioritize individual and community needs, provide appropriate services and develop resources, whenever possible, to meet these needs.
