Thank you for attending the meeting tonight. Please see the email I sent below. Paperwork packet is also attached. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact any of our team.

Welcome Cast and Crew to THE MUSIC MAN!

Thank you for attending the meeting this evening. I am SO excited to start this journey with all of you! This is going to be one for the books...I can feel it! All of the below is a repeat of the info I presented. If you have ANY questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. For those of you who cannot attend, here is a run down of the agenda. Please reach out with questions.

Cast and Crew who did not attend the meeting: your info packets and scripts are available for pick up in Mrs. Flock's room! Signed Code of Conduct can be turned in to my mailbox in the Main Office. Thanks!

One thing that I neglected to bring up was hair. The Music Man is set in 1912. Therefore, I am asking cast members to have hair styles and colors that are in line with that era. You are welcome to have modern hair styles and colors up until performance week! :) However, if you are thinking about a drastic change to your hair, please chat with me first. Once you know if you are an adult or teen in the production, this will also help you determine what might work for you and your hair! I have some students already interested in researching and providing some hair style options so once we get closer, we will have that info for you.

Also glasses/contacts: if you already have contacts, please plan to wear them for production week. If you are considering the switch to contacts - musical season is always a good excuse!

    Thanks everyone!!

    Tonight we discussed:

Introduction of Artistic Team members: Emily Howard, Kate Flock, Mary Lou Bonnell, Bob Humphrey
Introduction of Student Stage Management Team: Liberty Faliveno, Kayla Williams, Talissa Rodriguez-Ramos

    Student Code of Conduct:
    • Our high school cast and crew needs to sign and adhere to the Code of Conduct. This includes behavior in and out of school. This is same as Athletic Code of Conduct. It will negatively affect everyone if one person becomes ineligible.
    • Academic standing - please stay on top of school work and ask for help.
    • Behavior in school also means attendance and tardiness. If you receive a referral for anything then I will have to conference with you to address the challenge and plan to correct.
    • Sign paper and return to Emily Howard's mailbox in the main office.
    Rehearsal Rules:
    • Please read through the rules. We will also go over as a group when we start rehearsals in January.
    • Of note: please be on time and present when you are called to rehearsals, no guests at rehearsal without prior approval, if you cannot attend rehearsal you must communicate that with me (REMIND, email, text, phone call), if you are absent from school (for illness) then you cannot attend rehearsal (so please stay healthy!!)
